LIBDEM WELCOMES INVESTMENT FOR IRVINE BASED GLASS COMPANY

Jim Hume, Liberal Democrat MSP for the South of Scotland, has today welcomed news that Ardagh Glass has secured grant funding of £2 million through regional selective assistance.

Mr Hume said:

"The investment is good news in these gloomy economic times and will not only secure the jobs of the 248 Irvine employees, but will also mean that existing facilities can be upgraded."
