AFFORDABLE PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR THE SOUTH OF SCOTLAND

Jim Hume, MSP for the South of Scotland, today called on the Scottish Government during Question Time in the Scottish Parliament to implement measures that will increase the availability of affordable public transport for the region following the OECD's findings that the South of Scotland has particular problems related to social exclusion.

Jim Hume said:-

"I'm calling on the Scottish Government to provide better integrated and more affordable public transport provision in the South of Scotland.
